CVC Handwriting Practice Printable Worksheet Activities This resource contains handwriting practice related to CVC words. There is a handwriting worksheet for each CVC word - 6 for each vowel - a,e,i,o,u. Each worksheet gives students the opportunity to overwrite the CVC word in a sentence, overwrite the word, appropriately form the letters in the word, draw a picture of the word and find and circle the first letter of the word.

These task cards are a fun and engaging addition to your rhyming activities and centers. Students need to piece together the 2 pieces of the raindrop to match together the words/images that rhyme together. This is an engaging way for your students to work on their rhyming skills, as well as their fine motor skills. There are 10 different rhyming puzzles included in this pack. Your students will love working on their literacy skills with these puzzles. I recommend laminating all of the pieces included. This will make them stronger, longer lasting and reusable in the future. Instructions Print out the pages included. Cut and laminate the pieces of the raindrops. Lay the pieces out for your students to put the raindrops together to match the rhyming words together. These task cards fit perfectly into photo storage boxes - making it easy for you to stay organised and keep all the pieces together.

This activity includes 20 different write the room flashcards. All images and vocabulary are linked to the theme of CVC words. This come with 2 levels of difficulty. Students can either use flashcards 1-10 or 1-20, depending upon which you think is most suitable to your students. There are 2 different recording sheets to accommodate the 2 different levels. One uses 1-10 and one uses 1-20. All flashcards are ready numbered. An answer key is provided on the bottom two pages of the recording sheet PDF file. Instructions are also included on first pages of each PDF document. This download includes two PDF documents - one for the flashcards and one for the recording sheets. I would highly recommend laminating each of the individual flashcards so that they will be stronger, therefore longer lasting. You can hide these flashcards anywhere you want to get the students active and moving about. Some example are: ♦ Around the classroom ♦ Outdoor play area ♦ In a tough tray ♦ In a sensory tub etc. This is a great way to keep students motivated and engaged while practising their vocabulary and spelling skills.

This resource contains 30 different task cards. There are 6 task cards per vowel - a,e,i,o,u. Each task card contains an image and 3 boxes below for students to either write in or to place magnetic letters/foam letters. I highly recommend cutting each task card out individually and laminating so that they will be stronger and longer lasting. Using magnetic or foam letters is a great way to make an activity more interactive and enjoyable for your students. I recommend purchasing some letters from a local store or on Amazon for this activity. You can either leave letters out on a table or make the activity even more fun by hiding the letters in sensory trays and/or using fishing rods to catch the magnetic letters. Great fun to help students practice their CVC words. Comes in colour or black and white option for ink friendly printing. Contains 15 pages.

Mini booklets for each of the vowels - a,e,i,o,u. Each medial vowel has their own mini booklet, containing 6 different images/words. These mini booklets are a great way for your students to work on their CVC words, while making it more interactive and fun for them. Simply staple/put together the pages so that it makes a mini book, then have the students color/colour in the CVC images, read the words and then write them. There is a writing prompt on the bottom of each page for students to overwrite. This is a great way to introduce CVC words to your students. Once the mini booklets are completed they can either be put on display, sent home or kept close for your students to look back on and use throughout the year when needed to look back over and use for different CVC activities. Then, we are going to drive all the way down to the beach so I can go surfing! Then, finally, we are going to go to a hotel and relax in the sun. ★ My teacher asked me to name 4 things that remind me of Summer. I said the ocean is 1st, because we always go to the beach in the Summer. Then, a crab, because we try to find them at the beach. Then, there’s ice cream - the best cold treat! And, finally, of course, the sun! ★ It’s the first day of Summer, so dad is cooking us a bbq. First, I have to put the table cloth on our table, then dad starts to put food on the bbq to cook. I put on a special apron and hat so that I can be dad’s assistant chef. Finally, once the food is all cooked, I get to eat a cheeseburger! ★ We’re going to the beach today! Mom says I have to look for the beach sign, then we know we have arrived! When we arrive, I look up to see the sun shining, it’s very bright and hot! Mom puts an umbrella in the sand so we have some shade. Then, she helps to bury me under all the sand!

This resource contains an animal themed adapted / sentence building book that is a great way to encourage students to pay close attention to detail and be able to build sentences from what they can see. This pack comes complete with matching symbols for you to put together as an adapted book / sentence building book. The sentence structure follows ' I see a dog ' ' I see a zebra ' etc. Students have to build the sentence and look at what animal they can see to match the sentence to the page. There are 21 different animals included. The symbols come on a separate page. I recommend laminating the pages with empty boxes and pictures on then binding into a book. Cut out the symbol boxes individually and laminate. You can either have these spread out on a board/table for students to choose from or stick them muddled up on the back of the page in front for students to choose from. Brilliant for building sentences with children who need symbols for prompts. Also great for non-verbal students.
